Wild Blue Weddings Website
Overview:
Create an e-commerce website to sell wedding stationery directly to customers.
The Challenge:
After starting Wild Blue Weddings on Etsy, in order to expand, I needed to build a stand-alone site that would accomplish the following:
- Increase profits by avoiding high Etsy fees
- Keep customer’s attention on my products vs. the competition
- Include an SEO-rich blog to bring organic traffic to my products
- Provide a home for landing pages and funnel opt-ins
The Result:
The sales conversion rate for the site was around 10%, which is about 10x the industry standard for e-commerce. Customers reported that the site was easy and straightforward to use when ordering their wedding stationery.
Within 6 months, the website surpassed the Etsy shop in sales, and became one of the most important assets when I sold the brand in early 2020.
